Who these terms apply to
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Drink Tech's website, mobile application, and RO water purifier rental services (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Drink Tech ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing our website, submitting a booking form, making a payment, or using any part of our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered customers of significant changes via email or WhatsApp.
Description of Services
What we offer
Drink Tech provides RO (Reverse Osmosis) water purifier rental services for domestic and commercial use across India. Our services include:
- Supply and installation of RO water purifier units at your premises
- Periodic preventive maintenance and filter replacement
- Emergency repair and troubleshooting support
- 24/7 customer support via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Uninstallation and retrieval of the unit upon plan expiry or cancellation
Rental Agreement
Plans, duration & deposits
The rental agreement commences on the date of installation and continues for the duration of the selected subscription plan. Available plans and their associated conditions are as follows:

The security deposit is collected to cover any potential damage to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear. The 12-month Domestic plan is exempt from security deposit as a promotional benefit. Plans do not auto-renew; customers must place a fresh booking to continue service after expiry.
Payment Terms
Booking fees, plan charges & billing
A non-refundable Booking Fee of Rs.349 (inclusive of all applicable taxes) is charged at the time of booking to confirm and reserve your installation slot. This fee is separate from the subscription plan amount and the security deposit.
- The subscription plan amount is charged separately after successful installation and activation of the purifier.
- Security deposit may be paid at the time of booking or at the time of installation — at the customer's discretion.
- All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Drink Tech does not store your card details.
- Payments can be made via UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and wallets.
- GST and other applicable taxes are included in the displayed prices unless stated otherwise.
- In the event of a failed payment that has been debited from your account, it will be automatically reversed within 5–7 business days as per your bank's policy.
Installation Terms
Scheduling, access & requirements
Drink Tech will make every effort to complete installation within 48 hours of booking confirmation, subject to technician availability and access to the premises.
- Our technician will contact you to confirm a convenient installation time slot.
- You or an authorized adult representative must be present at the premises during installation.
- You must provide reasonable access to the installation area, including a power socket and proximity to a water inlet.
- Installation typically takes 1–2 hours. Wall drilling or minor civil work may be required and is carried out with your consent.
- If we are unable to install due to inaccessibility, unsuitable plumbing, or your absence on the scheduled date, we will reschedule once at no extra charge. Subsequent reschedules may incur a visit fee.
- Service is subject to geographic availability. Enter your pincode during booking to confirm serviceability in your area.
Maintenance & Support
What's covered & what's not
Drink Tech provides comprehensive maintenance as part of all rental plans. The following services are included at no additional charge:
- Scheduled preventive maintenance visits (quarterly or as per plan)
- Replacement of standard filter cartridges (sediment, carbon, RO membrane)
- Emergency repair of manufacturing defects or component failure
- Replacement of defective unit (if repair is not feasible within 48 hours)
The following are not covered under the standard maintenance plan:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized tampering
- Physical damage due to accidents, fire, flood, or acts of God
- Damage resulting from use outside normal domestic/commercial parameters
- Repairs or modifications attempted by any third party not authorized by Drink Tech
Customer Obligations
Your responsibilities as a renter
As a customer renting equipment from Drink Tech, you agree to:
- Use the purifier only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the operating guidelines provided.
- Not attempt to repair, modify, disassemble, relocate, or tamper with the unit in any way.
- Not allow unauthorized third parties to service or handle the equipment.
- Notify Drink Tech promptly of any malfunction, damage, or unusual behavior of the unit.
- Ensure the unit remains at the originally specified installation address. Relocation requires prior written approval from Drink Tech.
- Provide Drink Tech technicians reasonable access to the premises for maintenance, repair, and eventual retrieval of the unit.
- Return the unit in good working condition upon termination of the rental period, subject to normal wear and tear.
Termination & Cancellation
How to end your rental plan
Either party may terminate the rental agreement under the following conditions:
- Monthly Plans:Customer must provide at least 30 days' written notice via email or WhatsApp before the desired termination date.
- Quarterly/Half-Yearly/Annual Plans:Early termination is permitted with 30 days' notice. No partial refund of the plan amount is provided for the unused period.
- Pre-Installation Cancellation:If you cancel after booking but before installation, the Rs.349 booking fee is non-refundable. The security deposit (if paid) will be refunded as per the Refund Policy.
- Termination by Drink Tech:We reserve the right to terminate the agreement immediately for breach of these Terms, misuse of equipment, or failure to provide access for maintenance.
Upon termination, Drink Tech will schedule uninstallation within 7 business days. The unit must be returned in good condition. The security deposit refund (if applicable) will be processed as per our Refund Policy.
Limitation of Liability
Extent of our responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Drink Tech's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the preceding 3 months of the rental period.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or supply chain disruptions.
- Drink Tech does not guarantee specific water quality outcomes, as water quality depends on the source water composition, which varies by location and is outside our control.
Governing Law & Disputes
Legal jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice.
If amicable resolution is not achieved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Drink Tech with respect to the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
